About MP3 to MIDI Kit
I am an independent maker based in Hangzhou, China, and MP3 to MIDI Kit is a project I am just getting started with. While building it, I tested the same recorded music clip in three converters and found that their MIDI exports contained different numbers of note events. Those counts alone could not tell me which output was right. I built this page to make the next step easier to inspect: convert a short recording, preview and download its notes, and see exactly what the published tests do and do not establish.
What you can expect
The tool processes one recording at a time, up to 30 seconds and 20 MB. It estimates pitched notes; it does not separate instruments or transcribe a drum track. Review the output in your DAW before relying on it.
Our published three-converter test is a limited, reproducible observation. Local pitch spot checks do not establish whole-clip accuracy or prove this tool is more accurate.
